LIVING ALTERNATIVES WALK FOR LIFE – Hear ye… Hear ye! We are excited to inform you that Plainfield CRC will be participating in the Annual Walk for Life to raise funds for Living Alternatives Pregnancy Resource Center in Joliet. The Walk will be held on Saturday, May 16th from 9 – 11am and will begin at Judson Church, 2800 Black Road in Joliet.

We as a church have the opportunity to raise funds for the Center in several ways. The best way is to actually register for the Walk for Will County by going to wcprcevents.org. Sponsor pledge forms will be available at church to use for collecting pledges from your family, friends, and neighbors. You would then return the form with the appropriate funds to the registrar at the Walk before finding our group to begin walking.

Another way to participate is to sponsor someone that you know is registered. They will put your name and pledge on their form. FYI: there will also be a pledge sign-up sheet on the table at church. Then come out and join the fun in walking with us if you like, enjoying the fellowship with those friends you know and possibly friends you haven’t met yet!

BTW: A Living Alternatives t-shirt will be given to all those who are registered for the Walk! What greater incentive do we need, right?
